This month's challenge was to scraplift yourself. I admit, I totally have a go-to layout for such occasions, and it sure didn't fail me today. Here you go:
One horizontal photo on top of lots of horizontal strips and embellishments and punched bits and such, with a title to the left. It ain't complicated, but I like it, mainly because it looks different every time. In this case, of course, I used lots of goodies from my Counterfeit Kit, especially the main kit. You can see my kit photos here, and other projects I've done this month at the kit post, as well as here, here, and here.
I especially like the way the title came out:
Squeeze, indeed! I also like how the arrow points at my Uncle Mike, who didn't quite make it back in the shot before the camera timer went off -- oops! We took this family photo while camping up in Benzonia, MI last August (which I also scrapped about here, just in case you're curious and/or want to see my fam in a different set of matching shirts!)
Here are the layouts I lifted this design from:
So there you have it -- successful self-scraplift! I'd love to hear your go-to tricks for making stuff in a hurry.
Hop along now, and go see what Lesa has to offer. Have a delightful day!

Looks like a fun time love your alpha and the fact that your uncle didn't quite make it adds to the fun of the whole thing
Angela I am not the next one after you it should be lesa http://cutescrapbookingideas.com/
{Thanks, Mary -- I've fixed it -- Oops!}
totally my kind of layout with all those layers and bits and pieces - love it!
Hello! Love your layout and it brings back such good memories - we sold our camper a while back and I still miss it so much! Thanks for such a fun layout Angela & happy spring!
Now that is a great page design, especially towards the end of a kit or for frugal scrappers to use up their scraps! I love the eclectic mix of papers in your kit and the way you've done the Squeeze title is brilliant!
I love your pages- And totally agree, the title is my favorite part! I love the wood letters, awesome!!
I can see why you would use this design again and again! Love the photo of your uncle running to get in the picture! Great colors and layering on all the layouts!
Love all the details and elements on your work.
The alphas you chose are nice
that's a great LO ( all three) I love the layered elements- they look good any which way
Love this page design! I just may have to lift it, lol!
What a fun layout, Angela! I love what you did with the title!

Awesome layouts and great design. The title is cool.
Love the colorfulness of your newest layout. This is a design I might be lifting myself.
Very fun page. I love the title work! And thanks for sharing your other pages you've used this layout on. How fun.
Very nice "go to" design!
Yay! Another stripper...no wait...um! :)
I mean someone that also loves using those strippy, scrappy leftovers to eeke out new layouts! I'm loving yours, so I may be 'stealing this layout pretty soon x
Love the layouts! Great design!
I love the original and both of the lifts you did from it! Your titles are so clever, and the pages are really fun! Great work!
I love your design and how you used the reindeer as the banner element! Very cool!
Ang, your layouts are always so quirky and fun. I love those 'wood' chipboard letters!
There are so many fun elements to explore on this layout, Ang! Besides the family photo, of course. ;) Gotta love those camera timers. The way you did "squeeze" is perfect!
I love this page size and the layout is awesome!
Love that you showed several examples of this design...and none of them look the same. I think finding a simple layout that's versital, clean lines, that can be dresses up or down is the perfect way to get a quick layout done.
Hi Angela, love linear LO's they really appeal to me ATM, love your colours too and the sentiment is perfect, just love it:0) xxx
These layouts are just delightful! Thanks for sharing.
I just found your blog and am now a follower. So very nice to meet you! Stop over to my blog sometime and say hi!

So glad it isn't just me who does this :) I like them too as, yep it always comes out differently. Really like the way you've clustered and layered tho' with the title, especially the arrow at poor Uncle Mike :)
Love this go-to layout. I agree with you...that design is a keeper!
Great job.
I have no hints about making things in a hurry other than scraplift or use a sketch.
Love the tiny yellow letters and woodgrain letters, so fun!
LOVE your layout! The thing is, it may have been simple but it looks complicated and FABULOUS! I really like all the the paper strips and your title is awesome. I love the yellow stickers and the "squeeze" is different fonts just gives it a fun feel! :)
Hi there Angela, have to say a sorry here, I didn't notice your win over on your side bar, congratulations on the 18th Jan Embellish challenge win, you rocked it, fabby effort, love your LO and colours;0)xxx
