storage for my paper projects...come take a look!

27 June 2010

It might be a little out of season...

...but I like it. Here's a layout for you:

Yep, it's a Thanksgiving photo. That's a chunk of my cute little family, playing a game after Thanksgiving dinner. I had fun piecing together this one, using a bunch of products -- Girls' Paperie and Sassafras papers, a bunch of different letters, some crocheted trim aged with khaki glimmer mist, etc. I even broke out the typewriter for the journaling, something I'm usually way too lazy to do!  Oh, and it's Thanksgiving in June b/c I submitted this for a call...it didn't get picked up, but oh, well -- into the album it goes!

I'm in the midst of a little frenzy of layouts after spending most of the past couple weeks busy with house and people stuff. Back into the studio I go! What are you up to today? I hope it's fun!

What a fun layout! Love all the different lettering, especially the scrabble-looking tiles and the typewriter journaling (definitely putting typewriter on the birthday wish list!). Stinky that it didn't get chosen, but now we get to enjoy it right here on the paper cupboard. :)

Isn't it fun to get back into crafting after a break? Everything old is new again! Hope you're enjoying it and can't wait to see what you're making!

Thinking maybe the 11th of July would be good to meet up for a crop?

Angela, this is fabulous! I love the little details like the lacey ribbon and those scallops that look like knitting yarn rolled up. The typewriter text looks amazing!
