storage for my paper projects...come take a look!

Off you go...

Hey there -
The other day, I met up with some old friends from grad school who were in town for a conference. We were joined for awhile by our old boss/prof/friend, who's just taken a new teaching post that will take her across the country. I wanted to make her a little something:

I got to use some of my newest treats on this card: new stamps from Unity (I always forget that their stuff tends to be larger-scale, and it's always a nice surprise), some tissue tape from Tim Holtz (love, love, love), and one of the new SU colors - Cherry Cobbler, which is quite delicious (bad pun intended). A little sponging on the edges, a wing-like knot of ribbon, and there you go - a non-traditional bon voyage card.

I dig it. Do you?

Oooh, doesn't this seem just perfect for a college prof? LOVE that tissue tape-such a subtle vintage touch. And that image--swoon!

As a side(bar) note, I just got a big glossy mounted "keep calm and carry on" print. Don'tcha just love those Brits? :)
