Moxie Sweet!

Hi there!
I squoze (yep, that's a real word in my world) in a little time to make a card for the Tuesday Trigger over at Moxie Fab World. It's been awhile since I've played along! Here's the inspiration image:

Yum. Here's what I came up with:

I used a bunch of cupcake papers -- a couple mini, a couple regulation-sized -- and misted them for some shimmer. Staying in the cake-decorating world, I also added a couple doilies -- one "real" one, and one from Martha Stewart. A white-embossed heart stamp from Inkadinkado on some Raspberry Fizz bitty dot paper rounds it out. Technically, there are 8 layers of paper here, which is a TON for a simple girl like me! Here's a side view:

Well, you have until the end of today to play along with the challenge -- go forth and make a Valentine! I'm gonna go forth and grade some essays...not nearly as much fun!

Oh, and happy Superbowl whatever. I guess that's a big deal for some folks ;)

Love this card! Great job.
Snow kept me from getting to Scrappy Chic yesterday :( Hope to get there soon. Can't wait to all meet up for the new DT meeting! Hope you get through your papers fast so you can enjoy the rest of your weekend :)

Hey, Ang, could you PLEASE stop being so darn creative?!?! I never would have thought to pull out the ol' cupcake liners for a card!!! I think you captured the inspiration picture perfectly and I'm so impressed with your 8 (!) layers!

Sa-weet!!! This is awesome and I love all those pretty layers! I still consider it CAS though 'cause it's so well concentrated.

Wow! What a sweet creation! Totally captures the, er, flavour of the inspiration piece. I am a little confused, though... Martha makes fake doilies?
