storage for my paper projects...come take a look!

CHA, day 1

Oh my, it's been a long, productive, FUN day!

We waited in line in the morning:

all bright-eyed and stuff.

Met some cool people:

Kelly Purkey is cute, I'm in bad lighting.

Katie and the super-nice (super-beautiful) girls from Glitz

Shari Carroll, queen of Hero Arts

Amy Tan of Amy Tangerine -- one of my favorite new lines!

Jennifer McGuire -- did you know she was born in Frankenmuth?

Tim Holtz in the background, surrounded by his usual throng.

Me and my card, in the Paper Crafts booth.

And of course, saw lots and lots and LOTS of very cool products. Since you can see most of the lines online in various places, how about some cool projects for now?

Studio Calico -- my other favorite. Love.

Graphic 45 has outdone themselves, as usual.

October Afternoon - super-cute line!

Hambly transparencies on a lamp? Sure!

Super-cool mini from Amy Tangerine

from Silhouette -- this one's for you, Meg!

Oh, Echo Park is so fun.

Winter Twig from LYB -- because one Twig is never enough!

Crate. Oh, Crate. Also a favorite (can they all be favorites?)

So much fun stuff at Kaisercraft.

So take all of those companies, plus dozens more, multiply that by a catalog or two apiece...and that's what we've been up to -- lugging catalogs (rolling tote is a must), reading catalogs, drooling a little on catalogs...and planning orders! Most of what you see above will sooner or later come home to live at Scrappy Chic. And then at my house, too. Who needs groceries?

And of course, there's more!! But that will wait for another night -- man, it is late!! Good night, y'all -- see you tomorrow!

Seeing all your photos, it's almost like being there, Ang! What a blast you must be having. And it must get that mojo going something fierce to see all that amazing inspiration. You're right, who needs groceries when you can feed your artistic soul? :D
