Here it is all together:
Sweet snow boy. Love these pictures. Left page:
Snow days bring out joy in everyone :) Used my rockin' vintage typewriter for the journaling.
Right page:
The design is really, really simple, but I did add a lot of little layer-y details around the photos. The mix of alphas was not initially on purpose...those glitter thickers are some of my favorites...so I have two packs...but no "e" remains in either one, so I went ransom-style instead :)
Close-up:
The gold doily thingie is a rub-on from Hambly. Their stuff is really high-quality, but I had a heck of a time getting these dudes to rub on! Also here: Tim Holtz tissue tape, some stamping with pearl acrylic paint, and flocked lace and papers from We R Memory Keepers' Merry January line (cute title!).

Love it!
Things I am jealous of:
1) your vintage typewriter
2) your awesome ransom-style title
3) that fabulous paper!
We celebrated Sunday Stinkies with some Mexican tonight, too! Oh, and I should add:
4) the fact that you still have vacation days left!
Soooo good. That title is perfect and I like that you did not intend to do ransom style - isn't so cool how the workarounds can totally make a page?! Plus, a typewriter?!!! Oh, and I love that PP too...I bought me some of it as well :>)
Awesome two-pager! I still have a typewriter... somewhere... ;)
Ang, it's hard to believe this incredible double layout is your first! I love the colours, the tape, the typewriter journaling, the rub-on doily, thickers, photos... everything!
Off to a running start for 2011 I'd say! Such a happy 2 pages - love the look. Happy 2011 - I think it's gonna be a good one!
Great layout(s)! Love the way you mixed up the title :)
What fabulous photos ... and such a great layout to feature them.
