Sorry, I just watched Friday Night Lights. I always feel a little Texan after that. Anyway, here are the last couple of thank-you cards Marty sent out this week. First:
This little ditty went to my mom, who was Marty's "handler" in the car last week when Andrew had to work. It was also for this week's Color Challenge on Splitcoast. All that ink that looks black in the photo is actually early espresso -- a lovely dark, dark brown that I had a heck of a time photographing! The cat is an old Judikins stamp; the rest is Papertrey, including that cute die cut notebook page! What a fun die, and it cuts like a dream.
Next:
More Papertrey -- this time, for a friend who was super-encouraging on Facebook. Lots of pinks and greys here. Both of these cards are 3.5x5 -- a fun little size!
Ok, time for bed. We're heading up north for the weekend, so I probably won't post anything. I might check in from time to time -- the campground has wi-fi. Very modern!
By the way, do other states have an "up north," or is that just a Michigan thing?
When I come back, I have a very fun little birthday card to show you. Hooray! Have a great weekend!

Oooh, both of these are so cute! It's so nice that your cat is so well-mannered. I love the pink dp on the second one--is that stamped or printed? And I love the fun espresso background on the first one. I may have to break the seal on my ink spot! I love both die cuts you used, too. AAAAH! How much is my next PTI order going to end up being?!?
We don't have "up north" or "down by the shore" or anything cool like that here in Alabama. We've been meaning to go to a state park here that has pet-friendly cabins, but it has to get below 95 degrees before we even think about that. Y'all have fun! (that was in my best Tami voice)
Hello, what great cards, I love both, such different styles and both brilliant:) xx
That is such a yummy pink - it is SU's Blushing Bride? I love it on both cards! The way you used PTI's notebook die is so cute! That's definitely on my wish list for this month. (Question is, after the Aug release, will it get bumped?!) I also love the little kitty sleeping in the armchair. :D
Have an awesome time camping! Southern Ontarians definitely have 'up north' which is cottage country up by Georgian Bay, Lake Simcoe, Muskoka (where Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell have a cottage). Head anymore north than that and you're talking vast, wide-open space where the caribou roam. LOL It's hard for us to have 'down south' since that would be in the lake. ;) I'd love to see pics of the gorgeous wilderness when you get back!
Cute cards! Hope you had a great weekend up north ;)
